Swasthya Bandhu Manbhum is an Grassroot Health Initiative founded by young doctors, nurses, lab technicians, university students, and healthcare professionals. Our mission is to identify the gaps and sensitise people about their right to access of modern medicines and proper healthcare.

Our Initiatives

Medical Camps

Our medical camps brings young medical professionals and students to realities of rural India. People from marginalised communities also get to know their doctors. Camps are strictly not sponsored by any private pharma company or any private hospital or polyclinic. It runs on peoples donations.

Our ”Abhaya Teleconsultation” facility was started in solidarity with the doctors’ movement for those patients who are not able to come to hospitals or having financial contraaints to visit a doctor.

We form units in every village we visit for a health camp. We always remain in touch with those units for following up the patients, teleconsultations, fighting misinformation, spreading authentic health awareness materials. During health camps we arrange awareness campaigns.

We dream of a day where people are no longer helpless for healthcare access. People are not subjected to paying for medical insurance or getting affected by the huge cost of corporate healthcare. People can get the best facility at their Subcentres, PHCs and CHCs. A health system where health care professionals are regularly recruited, well paid and working in a safe environment. We want to unite people with these demands to bring that day.

Latest : ”Abhaya” teleconsultation

Our Abhaya Telemedicine Helpline was launched in solidarity with the doctors’ movement and to bridge the gap for individuals unable to access hospitals due to financial hardships, physical limitations, or geographical constraints. Operating daily from 8 PM to 9 PM, a dedicated general physician offers consultations and advice, ensuring timely care for those in need. This service empowers communities by providing a reliable, cost-effective healthcare alternative.

Since its inception, the helpline has reached countless families in remote areas, addressing health concerns that would otherwise remain unattended. By offering support at critical times, it has become a symbol of hope and resilience.
